DESCRIPTION:
Developed for industrial applications, MI 00 201 is a rigid, moulded friction material.
The most noted properties of this material are its hardness and mechanical strength.
The material comprise mainly phenolic resins with NBR bonding system, short fibres,
friction modifiers, metallic particles and fillers.
SOME TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Geared discs
Punch-die press blocks
Electromagnetic brakes
Brake pads for cranes.
ADHESIVES:
The use of any well known thermosetting
adhesive is recommended.
RUBBING SURFACES:
Good quality, fine grained pearlitic cast iron with Brinell hardness of 150-200 is recommended.
