DESCRIPTION:
With the experience and technology used in moulded materials MI 00 501 contains many
complementary types as short cut fibres, with improvements in its cement, is a
material with very good mechanical and frictional characteristics.
MI 00 501 is capable of withstanding higher shear and tensile forces.
SOME TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Toothed/ geared friction discs.
Agricultural torque limiting devices, etc.
ADHESIVES:
The use of any well known thermosetting adhesive is recommended.
RUBBING SURFACES:
Good quality, fine grained pearlitic cast iron with Brinell hardness of 150-200 is recommended.
